Children’s Short Drama Script

I’m developing a lively short drama aimed squarely at kids and I need a writer who can deliver a fun, engaging script that keeps young audiences smiling from start to finish.

Here’s what I’m looking for:
• A clear, entertaining storyline suitable for children, with positive themes and age-appropriate humor.
• Memorable characters (4–6 is ideal) that actors aged 8–12 could realistically portray.
• Dialogue written for a runtime of roughly 5–7 minutes.
• Simple stage directions and prop notes so the piece can be staged in a classroom or small theater without elaborate sets.

Tone & style
The plot should move quickly, use language kids easily grasp, and end with a light moral or takeaway. Think along the lines of a Saturday-morning show—upbeat, colorful, and easy to stage.

Deliverables
1. One-paragraph synopsis for approval
2. Full script in PDF or Word (final length 3–4 pages)
3. Brief character breakdown and prop list

I’m happy to answer questions about specific themes or constraints as soon as you come on board. Let’s create a short drama that children will love performing and watching!
