Here’s what I will supply: the manuscript, the full-resolution illustrations, and any front- or back-matter text. We are looking for an experienced children’s book designer and layout specialist to design a STEM book for readers aged 8–12.

The book will be published in both English and Arabic, so the ideal freelancer should have experience designing bilingual or multilingual publications and should understand both left-to-right and right-to-left layouts.

## Scope of Work

The selected designer will be responsible for:

* Creating an engaging and professional interior layout for a children’s STEM book
* Designing both the English and Arabic editions
* Applying a clear and consistent typography system
* Formatting chapters, headings, body text, activities, captions, side notes, and diagram labels
* Designing activity pages, experiments, educational callout boxes, and STEM-related content
* Ensuring Arabic text is correctly formatted from right to left
* Handling mixed Arabic and English text, numbers, units, scientific terms, and equations
* Creating a consistent visual style across both language editions
* Preparing print-ready files according to the required printer or publishing specifications
