Children’s Book Design and Illustration

I’m preparing a new children’s book and want every visual element to feel cohesive, engaging, and age-appropriate. I need one designer who can take the project from concept to press-ready files, handling the cover design, complete interior layout, and all required illustrations in a consistent style.

Cover Design
• Create an eye-catching front, spine, and back that instantly communicates the book’s theme and age range.
• Supply print-ready PDF plus layered source files.

Interior Layout
• Set up the trim size, margins, typography, and page flow so the story reads smoothly in both print and e-book formats.
• Deliver packaged InDesign (or comparable) files, plus final PDFs for each format.

Illustrations
• Produce full-colour artwork that complements the narrative and characters.
• Provide high-resolution RGB and CMYK versions as well as original layered files.

Acceptance Criteria
1. Consistent visual style across cover, layout, and illustrations.
2. Print-ready files that meet standard KDP/IngramSpark specs.
3. Two rounds of feedback incorporated without extra cost.
