Looking for a CFD simulation engineer to simulate filtration plants. The process involves air-to-solid-particle separation. Since the particles are considered suspended, the simulation only needs to be single-phase.
You should have experience conducting the same or similar simulations in the past. You can use any tool, such as Ansys, STAR-CCM+, or OpenFOAM.
The simulation specifications are as follows:
* Single-phase
* Steady RANS
* With porous media
* Fluid: Air (and, in different simulations, water) at 23°C
* Volume flow rate: 5,000 m³/h
* Objective: Understanding flow distribution and accurately estimating pressure drop
* Plate footprint: The total volume of the plant is roughly 9.5 m³ and will result in 2–4 million cells (polyhedral)
I will provide the filter element CAD and pressure-drop curve, so that you can derive and use Cr1 and Cr2. The filtration plant CAD will also be provided.
If you are interested, please be prepared to provide a rough quote.
