Summary Description
We are looking for an experienced Clinical Documentation Integrity Consultant to join our team and make a measurable impact, both for the hospital clients we serve and for the revenue cycle solutions we build. This is a hybrid client-facing and product-informing role ideal for a CDI professional who is equally comfortable on the floor of a health system and in a product strategy meeting.

Job Responsibilities
Assess, design, and implement CDI programs at inpatient facilities

Partner with physicians, HIM teams, and clinical staff to drive documentation accuracy and compliance

Collaborate with our internal revenue cycle team to identify opportunities for DRG optimization, reduce under-coding, and maximize appropriate inpatient reimbursement

Work directly with our engineering team to translate CDI and DRG workflow expertise into product requirements, test features, and shape the roadmap of our proprietary CDI tool

Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

3+ years of CDI experience in an inpatient acute care setting

CCDS, CDIP, or equivalent certification preferred

Strong working knowledge of MS-DRG and APR-DRG methodology

Experience presenting to and educating physician and clinical audiences

Ability to translate clinical domain expertise in practical product feedback

Prior consulting or multi-facility experience is a strong plus

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills

Take initiative to complete tasks rapidly and accurately

Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Willingness to travel to client sites (10-15%)
