I need an experienced Cisco professional to get a small CCNA-level lab fully operational. I have both routers and a stack of Cisco Catalyst 2900 Series switches that must be brought online, tuned, and documented.
The immediate work covers device setup from factory defaults, interface addressing, basic security hardening, VLAN creation, inter-VLAN routing, and dynamic routing protocol configuration. Once everything is up, I want you on call to troubleshoot any unexpected behaviour and then fine-tune for performance so latency, throughput, and CPU utilisation stay within healthy ranges.
Deliverables:
• Running-config and startup-config files for every router and switch
• A concise network diagram (Visio or Packet Tracer is fine) showing topology, VLANs, and routing domains
• A brief report listing the issues you found during troubleshooting, the commands you used to verify fixes, and any performance tweaks applied
• Verification screenshots or command outputs (show run, show ip route, show vlan, show interfaces) that prove the network meets the agreed criteria
Acceptance criteria: all devices must ping end-to-end across VLANs, routing tables must display the correct networks, and switch ports should show zero errors after optimisation.
If you are comfortable with classic IOS on the 2900 series and can move quickly, let’s get started today.
