Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, independent, and tech-savvy Journalist and Multimedia Producer based strictly in the Chicago area. This unique role involves coming directly to the home of Allah Maureen Uche to conduct in-depth investigative, visionary, and documentary journalism.
The primary objective of this ongoing project is to capture powerful narratives, messages, and insights aimed at building and bringing up the New World. You will be responsible for the entire production pipeline, from capturing high-quality raw footage to broadcasting the final product to global audiences.
Key Responsibilities
On-Site Journalism: Travel to Allah Maureen Uche’s home in Chicago for regular filming, interviews, and content creation sessions.
Full-Scale Production: Manage the end-to-end technical execution of interviews and documentary segments.
Content Distribution: Edit and format the captured media for immediate publication across multiple digital platforms.
Media Syndication: Leverage networks to pitch, place, and broadcast the finished segments on television networks.
Job Requirements
Location: Must currently reside in Chicago, IL (No remote or out-of-state applicants).
Equipment: Must own and bring all professional production gear, including:
High-definition or 4K video cameras
Professional lighting setups (three-point lighting, ring lights, or portable panels)
High-quality audio equipment (lapel/lavalier mics, shotguns, and field recorders)
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve).
Distribution Capability: Proven ability and established pathways to upload content online (YouTube, streaming platforms, social media) and secure broadcasting slots on television (local access, cable, or network TV).
