The existing sheet-metal cover on my industrial machine is cracked, so I need a faithful 3D replacement built directly in CATIA V5. You will be working from a non-standard 2D drawing I supply, along with the following fixed parameters:
• Material thickness: 2 mm
• Default internal bend radius: 2 mm
• K-factor: 0.325
Every feature shown on the drawing—bends, holes, slots, cut-outs and tabs—must appear in the model. Please create the part in the Sheet Metal workbench so the feature tree tells a clear, logical story for anyone who revisits the file.
If any dimension, bend direction or detail seems ambiguous, pause and ask me before deciding; I will clarify promptly so we stay on track.
Deliverables
• Editable .CATPart, modelled exclusively in CATIA V5 Sheet Metal
• STEP file of the finished part
• Flat-pattern export with bend lines and key dimensions visible
• A set of labelled screenshots (orthographic and isometric) that lets me visually verify your work before sign-off
Acceptance
The geometry must match the drawing and flat pattern; I’ll overlay your output against the print to confirm. Once everything aligns, the project is complete and ready for release to fabrication. Timely, accurate work is the priority, and I’m ready to answer questions as soon as they arise.
