Categorize 10k FMCG Products

I have an Excel master list of roughly ten thousand fast-moving consumer goods. Your task is simple but detail-critical: open the sheet, leave every existing item code untouched, and populate only the Category and Sub-category columns with the correct values from the predefined taxonomy I will send you in a separate Excel file.

That taxonomy already covers every valid option, so please do not invent new labels. Where a product does not clearly fit, add a short “Review” flag in the notes column rather than guessing. I will also share a brief set of basic guidelines that clarify how to interpret edge cases.

Because accuracy outweighs speed, I want the work returned in manageable checkpoints: upload the updated sheet in batches of 1,000 products so I can spot-check and clear up any misclassifications early. We will repeat the cycle until all 10,000 lines are finalized.

Deliverables
• Batch files of 1,000 rows each, with Category and Sub-category columns completed
• A running list of all rows you flagged for review
• A final consolidated file once every batch is approved

Acceptance criteria
• 98 % or higher category accuracy per batch
• Zero changes to original item codes, descriptions, or pricing fields
• All uncertain items clearly flagged, not left blank or mis-assigned
