Cartoon Bird’s-Eye School Map

I’m commissioning a bright, friendly bird’s-eye illustration that shows school, the surrounding streets and crossings, plus the local landmarks the children recognise. The look I have in mind is a simple, colourful cartoon—nothing too technical—so children can immediately spot their classroom bird, the sports courts, the local library, the bakery on the corner and any other iconic spots they pass every morning.

The finished artwork will be printed for tea towles to sell for our fundraising for local charities. It must hold its crispness. We would also like to be able to have it printed and showcased at school at A1 size (or larger). Vector artwork is ideal, though a very high-resolution raster file works too. I’ll supply reference photos, a rough sketch of the layout and brand colours once we start; feel free to suggest a playful palette that still keeps paths, crossings and buildings clear.

Please include:

• A full-colour master file (AI, EPS or layered PSD) ready for print
• A flattened PNG/JPEG for quick viewing
• Two round-proof stages I can give feedback on positioning and labels

If you already have similar map or campus work in your portfolio, I’d love to see it.
