I’m building a bright, cartoon-style 3D endless runner for mobile and need an experienced Unity developer to get the core game loop in place.
Gameplay focus
• Endless running with a steadily increasing speed/difficulty curve.
• Dynamic obstacles that spawn, move, and react in ways that keep players on their toes.
No level breaks, boss fights, or character swaps for now—just a tight, endlessly escalating challenge that feels great on a touchscreen.
What I’m after
– A clean Unity (C#) project set up for both iOS and Android.
– Procedural track generation that varies width, elevation, and obstacle patterns so every run feels fresh.
– Responsive swipe/tap controls and smooth camera follow.
– Simple cartoon asset placeholders are fine; visual polish comes later, but the style must read as playful and colorful from the start.
– Basic UI: start screen, pause, score, high-score persistence.
– Well-commented code and a short read-me explaining scene hierarchy, obstacle spawner logic, and where to plug in future art or monetisation modules.
Acceptance
I’ll consider the job complete when I can install an APK/IPA, start a run, see difficulty ramp in action, collide with at least three distinct dynamic obstacles, and view my score climbing in real time.
If you’ve shipped or prototyped similar runners, include a link or video. Let’s make a fast, fun foundation we can expand on later.
