Cardiac Surgery Review Support

I am midway through a systematic review in cardiac surgery that I intend to shape into a Q1-level manuscript. The protocol is drafted, the search strategy is sketched out, and PubMed and the Cochrane Library will definitely be searched (I am open to expanding to EMBASE or others if this strengthens coverage).

Where I most need assistance is the labour-intensive middle stage—screening every retrieved record, selecting studies, and documenting each decision so the PRISMA flow diagram stands up to journal scrutiny. If you have a sharp eye for inclusion/exclusion nuances and experience with tools such as Covidence, Rayyan, or EndNote, that will accelerate progress. I also welcome your input on tightening the research question and verifying novelty before we lock the protocol.

Once the final study set is confirmed, we will move together through data extraction, quality and risk-of-bias assessment, and, should the data permit, a meta-analysis using RevMan, R (meta, metafor), or Stata. Tables, forest plots, GRADE assessments, and manuscript sections will be prepared to journal specifications so that submission is little more than a formality.

• Statistical code/output (if meta-analysis feasible) with reproducible scripts
