CAPL Script for Bus Testing

I need a CAPL script that performs full system-level testing across our communication buses. The goal is to automate message stimulation, monitor bus traffic, and provide clear pass/fail feedback so that we can quickly validate each build without manual intervention.

Scope
• Primary purpose: Testing
• Test level: System test
• Target: Communication buses (for example CAN, LIN or FlexRay—whichever we agree best matches the network description I will supply)

What the script must do
1. Inject predefined frames and error conditions at configurable intervals.
2. Listen for expected responses, time-stamp them, and verify ID, DLC and signal-level content.
3. Log all relevant events to both the CANoe report window and an external ASCII file for post-processing.
4. Provide a concise on-screen summary (pass/fail with reason codes) once the test run ends.
5. Be cleanly commented so future updates are simple.

Deliverables
• The .can (CAPL) source file ready to load into Vector CANoe/CANalyzer.
• A short README explaining how to import, configure test vectors, and interpret results.
• One sample log that demonstrates the script working on any demo database you choose.

Acceptance criteria
– All required frames are transmitted and verified without manual edits.
– Script runs without compilation errors on CANoe version I specify.
– Log clearly flags any failed checks.

Once I provide the DBC/ARXML and timing tables, integrate them and return a first draft so we can iterate quickly.
