CapCut Editor Needed for Sci-Fi Youtube Series

CapCut Editor for Original Sci-Fi YouTube Series (Paid Trial First)

I am producing an original AI-generated sci-fi series for YouTube titled *Orion’s Reckoning*. The series uses realistic animated footage and needs a CapCut editor who can turn provided clips, narration, and assets into polished YouTube videos.

This listing is for a paid trial first. Ongoing episode work will be discussed only after the trial is completed and approved.

**What I need**
- Edit in CapCut (desktop preferred)
- Strong pacing, clean cuts, and YouTube-ready structure
- Captions, sound design, music, and tasteful effects that fit a serious sci-fi tone
- Comfort working with AI-generated footage
- Ability to deliver both 16:9 YouTube videos and 9:16 Shorts when requested
- Return of the CapCut project file when possible

**What I will provide**
- Footage and assets
- Brief notes on tone, sequence, and any required text
- Style references after the initial conversation

**Trial assignment**
The first paid task will be a short sample edit (approximately 45–90 seconds) from provided footage. This is how I evaluate quality, communication, and turnaround before any ongoing arrangement.

**Who should apply**
- Demonstrated CapCut experience
- Published YouTube work you personally edited (required)
- Reliable communication and on-time delivery
- Students, recent graduates, and budget-conscious editors are welcome if the quality is strong

**How to bid**
Please include all of the following or the proposal will not be considered:

1. Links to 2–3 videos you edited in CapCut, including at least one published YouTube video
2. Your fixed price for the paid trial sample described above
3. Typical turnaround time for a 60–90 second edit
4. Confirmation that you can work in CapCut and share the project file
5. The word **ORION-TRIAL** in your bid so I know the post was read in full

**Compensation**
Quote your rate for the paid trial only. After a successful trial, we will discuss rates for ongoing work. I am starting on a modest budget and prefer a practical, sustainable rate rather than a high retainer at the outset.

I will select a small number of candidates for the paid trial. Do not begin any unpaid sample work.

Use the $30–$150 range on the site for the trial project only. Once you have a finished sample you like, you can agree a per-video or per-episode rate privately and post follow-on projects with the person who already passed the test. That keeps the public listing from inflating bids before you have seen the work.
