ABOUT THE ROLE
The Outbound Travel Sales Associate is responsible for managing a variety of warm travel leads, converting those leads into deposited passengers, and building relationships with their customers to create lifelong guests. This role reports to the Outbound Sales Supervisor. An ideal candidate will be a self-starter, possess strong organizational skills, polished time management, are money and customer experience motivated, enjoy working individually as well as collaborate as a team, must have a good understanding and execution of close ratios, performance consistency, and most importantly, a passion for travel.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
Excellent Computer skills – we use multiple systems to engage with our work and clients
Ability to navigate through multiple computer programs throughout the day
1-year previous Outbound Sales Experience required
Previous experience successfully managing a Pipeline
Able to successfully manage multiple leads and customers consecutively
Excellent organization skills
Self-motivated
Friendly and able to connect with our customers
Innate ability to build repeat clientele
Understanding of Assumptive Close and how to assertively convert a lead into a deposit
Able to make minimum of 145 Outbound calls and emails per month
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS PREFERRED
Travel industry experience preferred but not required.
Experience using systems such as Siebel, Ring Central, Microsoft Dynamics, Excel,
The preferred candidate will hold an associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; six months to one-year related experience in outbound sales work, and travel industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of1yearin a Sales or similar role
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage 145 leads per month in addition to any previous workload pending sale
Engage with multiple customers via phone and email daily
Responsible for hitting defined sales goals monthly and annually
Maintain a healthy and organized sales pipeline
Participate in regular training to enhance your skills
Meet regularly with Supervisor to discuss metrics and performance
Participating in weekly team meeting's Teams Chats
Rotating Saturday’s shift required. Will receive one day off that week to compensate
Overtime as needed
