I have a prefabricated aluminum pergola—60 ft × 14 ft × 12 ft—that will attach to a new residence now going up in Mendocino County. The basic architectural layout is done; I already hold complete pre-designed plans from the manufacturer. What I still need is the structural portion of the building-permit package, signed and sealed by a professional engineer currently licensed in California.

I will supply the drawings, manufacturer data sheets, connection details and the Mendocino County code notes I have gathered. You will verify the design against the 2022 CBC, Mendocino County amendments, relevant wind/seismic loads, and any other CALGreen or Wildland-Urban Interface requirements that apply. Once confirmed, prepare the structural calculations, detail sheets, and a summary letter ready for direct submission to the county plan checker.

Key deliverables
• Wet-stamped structural calculations (PDF)
• Annotated plan sheets and connection details suitable for 24 × 36 in. plotting
• Engineer-of-Record cover letter affirming code compliance and load path assumptions

Submittal is considered complete when Mendocino County accepts the package without additional structural comments.
