Description:
I am looking for a rigorous and precise CAD technician or architect to redraw and develop a set of architectural plans at 1:50 scale.
I will supply the historical 1:50 PDF scans of the building (including, ground floor, existing elevations, and two original sections). Your job is to accurately redraw the project in CAD and project the missing/new views.
Scope of Work:
1. First Floor Plan (1ère Étage): To be drawn accurately based on the provided ground floor (Rez-de-chaussée).
2. Roof Plan (Toiture): To be developed matching the existing slopes, eaves, and dimensions.
3. All Exterior Elevations (4 Facades): Clean, professional redraw respecting local Swiss architectural features (volets, roof eaves details, terrain lines).
4. Two New Sections: You must create 2 brand-new sections by shifting the cutting lines of the existing ones:
• One new transversal section cutting through the side annex.
• One new longitudinal section passing through the kitchen (cuisine).
Drafting & Geometry Requirements:
• Clean CAD Drafting: All geometry must be clean and drafted using closed polylines (no loose lines, overlapping segments, or exploded hatches).
• Swiss Standards & Layer Management: Drawings must follow strict Swiss/European drafting conventions (SIA standards). Elements must be thoroughly organized into layers by type (walls, windows, stairs, dimensions, etc.). A layer template will be provided at the start of the job.
• Complete Documentation: The final sheets must include all necessary technical symbols, room text/annotations, level indicators, and explicit section cut marks.
• Accuracy: All dimensions on the final redraw must close within a 1mm tolerance of the source files.
• Deliverables: 1 clean, purged, fully layered metric DWG per sheet + matching print-ready PDFs.
Budget & Bidding:
My target budget for this specific scope is $350 USD. To be considered, please explicitly confirm in your proposal that you work with closed polylines, show at least one example of a prior scan-to-CAD conversion, and state your experience with Swiss/European drawing codes.
