C++ Employee Records Desktop App

I need a modern C++ desktop application that lets me maintain a complete employee record database. The first milestone focuses on a solid CRUD workflow: create, read, update and delete individual employee profiles, each stored securely in a local SQLite (or similarly lightweight) database.
Please structure the code so that attendance tracking and printable or exportable reports can be added without refactoring the whole project; clear separation between the data layer, business logic and presentation layer will be important. I would like a straightforward graphical interface—Qt, wxWidgets, or another cross-platform toolkit is fine as long as it produces a smooth Windows installer. If you can also prove macOS or Linux builds later that’s a plus.
For delivery I will need:
• Fully documented C++ source code that compiles on MSVC or MinGW.
• An installer (or zip) ready for Windows.
• A concise README explaining build steps and basic usage.
Clean architecture matters more than flashy visuals, so if you have examples of previous C++ desktop utilities with a maintainable codebase, feel free to share them when you propose your approach.
