Job Description:

The Business Intelligence Leader plays a critical role in transforming data into meaningful business decisions across multiple functional areas. In this position, you will lead a team of Business Intelligence Analysts while actively contributing to the design, development, and delivery of high impact analytics solutions. You will collaborate with leaders across the organization to translate business needs into actionable insights, ensuring stakeholders have access to reliable, well documented, and decision ready data products. Success in this role requires a strategic thinker who enjoys mentoring others, driving continuous improvement, and balancing technical excellence with strong business partnership skills. • Salary Range: USD 2,000/month

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and oversee Power Query transformations and data modeling best practices

Conduct design reviews and provide ongoing feedback to support professional development

Partner with business leaders to translate complex business questions into actionable analytical solutions

Assign work based on business impact, team strengths, and organizational priorities

Lead and manage a team of Business Intelligence Analysts to deliver high quality analytics solutions aligned with business priorities

Build and review Power BI semantic models, measures, reports, dashboards, and visualizations

Establish and enforce quality standards, documentation requirements, peer reviews, and release readiness criteria

Own team backlog management, capacity planning, and sprint or Kanban processes to ensure efficient delivery

Coach team members on analytical thinking, problem framing, stakeholder communication, and data storytelling

Manage intake processes, prioritization frameworks, service level expectations, and stakeholder requests

Present insights, recommendations, and tradeoffs to stakeholders and executive audiences

Escalate risks, roadblocks, and resource concerns while driving resolution and accountability

Partner with HR and Workday stakeholders to maintain current job profile competencies and analytics role standards

Apply competency frameworks and skills standards across Business Intelligence roles

Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve analytics maturity and business decision making

Maintain reusable datasets, report catalogs, user documentation, and self service analytics resources

Establish and maintain visualization standards, reporting frameworks, and analytics best practices

Oversee Google BigQuery datasets with a focus on performance, scalability, and cost efficiency

Support data governance initiatives and ensure consistency, quality, and reliability across reporting assets

Manage and optimize Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse environments, Dataflows Gen2, and data pipelines

Requirements:
•Minimum 2 years of Business Intelligence or Analytics experience delivering dashboards, reporting solutions, and stakeholder-facing insights
•Minimum 1 year of experience leading analysts or serving as a technical lead or mentor
•Proven production experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Google BigQuery
•Exposure to data governance, performance optimization, and analytics best practices preferred
•Certifications Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst (PL 300)
Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer (DP 600)
Google Professional Data Engineer
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PMI ACP
•Required Software and Tools: Microsoft 365 Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and Planner. Workday. Power BI. Microsoft Fabric. Google BigQuery. Microsoft Copilot. Keeper Security. Virtual Machine environment when applicable
•Technical Requirements: Advanced Power BI skills including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
Microsoft Fabric experience including Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouse, and data pipelines
Advanced SQL and Google BigQuery optimization experience
Ability to develop data visualizations and analytics products following presentation and storytelling best practices
Understanding of analytics governance, quality assurance, and documentation standards
•Preferred Technical Skills: Python for analytics and automation, Git version control, dbt or similar transformation frameworks
