I want ongoing, one-to-one lessons that push my current B2 English up to a confident, near-native level while also guiding me from absolute beginner to functional fluency in Chinese.
For English, the focus is on both Business and Academic contexts. We will drill pronunciation—preferably in a clear, non-American accent—alongside intensive work on grammar, vocabulary expansion, and polished writing that can stand up in reports, proposals, and scholarly papers.
For Chinese, I would like an even balance between conversational ability and written competence, so each session should mix speaking practice with character recognition, reading, and short writing tasks.
Ideal approach
• Tailored curricula built around real business cases, journal articles, and day-to-day corporate communication.
• Pronunciation correction in every English segment.
• Gradual, scaffolded Chinese lessons that move from pinyin to characters while reinforcing useful dialogue patterns.
• Regular homework with timely, actionable feedback.
We can meet online via Zoom or a similar platform twice a week to start, though I’m flexible on scheduling. If you are experienced in guiding learners across both languages and can keep sessions engaging and practical, I’d love to hear how you would structure our first month together.
