I am starting a new venture and need a technical partner to get the online foundations in place from scratch. Because I do not yet own a domain, the first task will be purchasing one through GoDaddy (my preferred registrar). Once the name is secured, I want it pointed to a reliable hosting environment and set up with all the essential DNS records.
The site itself will be a straightforward informational website—no e-commerce or complex back-end functions—so a clean WordPress or similar CMS installation is ideal. I’d like a modern, mobile-responsive theme, basic on-page SEO plugins, and a contact form that routes enquiries to my business email. After launch, I should be able to log in and make simple edits myself.
Email is equally important. I use Microsoft 365, so I need the correct MX, SPF, DKIM and TXT records configured and a short screen-share tutorial showing me how to create additional Microsoft business mailboxes and aliases in the future.
Acceptance criteria
• Domain successfully registered on GoDaddy, with ownership transferred to my account
• Hosting environment live, SSL enabled, and domain pointing correctly
• Informational website built, populated with placeholder pages (Home, About, Services, Contact) and working contact form
• Microsoft 365 mailboxes active; test emails send and receive without landing in spam
• 15-minute walk-through recording or live session demonstrating basic site edits and email management
If you have recent experience handling end-to-end setups like this, including WordPress, cPanel/Plesk (or comparable), DNS management, and Microsoft 365 administration, I’d love your help.
