Job Title: Business Development Executive (Talent Packaging & Creator Management)
Industry: Media Production / Creator Economy
Location: Hybrid / Remote
Must be based in UK
Position Overview
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and strategically minded Business Development Executive to drive growth across both our long-term IP development and immediate creator monetization streams.
In this dual-focus role, you will bridge the gap between traditional entertainment and the digital creator economy. On one side, you will cultivate long-term revenue by scouting IP, attaching top-tier talent, building pitch packages, and selling project slates to studios, production houses, and streaming platforms. On the other side, you will drive immediate, high-velocity cash flow by providing management support, representation, and brand partnership opportunities to a portfolio of high-growth digital influencers and content creators.
Key Responsibilities
1. Long-Term IP Packaging & Studio Sales (Strategic / Multi-Year Pipeline)
IP Scouting & Acquisition: Identify and secure rights to high-potential stories, scripts, formats, and digital properties with strong adaptation potential.
Talent Attachment: Network with and attach writers, directors, showrunners, and key talent (including top-tier digital creators crossing over into traditional media) to film and TV slates.
Packaging & Pitching: Lead the creation of pitch decks, sizzle reels, and financial packaging strategies to pitch directly to production companies, networks, and streaming executives.
Optioning & Studio Deals: Negotiate option agreements, development deals, and co-production partnerships with external production studios and buyers.
2. Creator Management & Short-Term Monetization (Agile / Recurring Revenue)
Influencer Roster Support: Provide day-to-day business development, team management, and strategic support to our roster of digital creators and influencers.
Brand Partnerships & Sponsorships: Proactively pitch, negotiate, and close inbound and outbound brand deals, sponsored content campaigns, and commercial partnerships for our creator roster.
Monetization Expansion: Identify new, quick-to-market revenue opportunities for influencers, including merchandise lines, digital products, affiliate deals, and event appearances.
Talent Development: Work with creators to scale their personal brands, streamline their production pipelines, and transition high-performing digital concepts into long-term media IP.
3. Pipeline & Relationship Management
Build and maintain a robust network of contacts across film/TV development executives, talent agencies, brand managers, and digital media platforms.
Manage end-to-end contract negotiations, ensuring terms align with company revenue targets and protect creator rights.
Maintain an organized pipeline tracking active studio pitches, pending brand deals, and talent contracts.
Qualifications
Experience: 3–5+ years of combined experience in business development, talent packaging, agency/representation, or influencer management within entertainment or digital media.
Entertainment Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of traditional film/TV packaging dynamics, studio development processes, and optioning agreements.
Creator Economy Acumen: Proven track record in closing influencer brand integrations, understanding platform algorithms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram), and monetizing digital audiences.
Network: An existing, active network of brand marketers, talent reps, production studio buyers, and content creators.
Skillset: Exceptional pitching, negotiation, and contract-structuring abilities paired with strong project management skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: Competitive base pay depending on experience.
High-Upside Commission & Incentive Structure:
Short-Term Incentive: Tiered commission on all closed brand deals, sponsorships, and influencer revenue streams (paid monthly/quarterly).
Long-Term Incentive: Success bonuses/backend percentage on signed studio option deals, development packages, and production sales.
Flexible working environment (remote) and unlimited PTO.
