WE’RE HIRING: Business Development & Operations Manager
We are looking for an experienced, proactive and results-driven Business Development & Operations Manager to help manage and grow a home care and healthcare staffing business in Ireland.
This role requires someone who can take ownership of day-to-day operations while also actively bringing in new business.
Key responsibilities include:
• Finding new home care clients and healthcare staffing contracts
• Contacting nursing homes, healthcare organisations and potential private clients
• Building relationships with decision-makers and prospective clients
• Following up leads, enquiries, quotations and proposals
• Arranging business meetings and presentations
• Preparing quotations, proposals and service agreements
• Managing existing client relationships
• Coordinating healthcare staff and ensuring shifts are covered
• Supporting recruitment and onboarding of healthcare workers
• Monitoring staff documentation, training and compliance requirements
• Assisting with tenders and procurement opportunities
• Maintaining CRM records and a strong sales pipeline
• Handling operational issues and client follow-ups
• Providing weekly reports on leads, meetings, contracts, staffing and business progress
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience in business development, operations or healthcare management
• Understands the Irish healthcare or home care sector
• Is confident approaching businesses and decision-makers
• Has strong communication and negotiation skills
• Can work independently and take initiative
• Is organised and capable of managing multiple responsibilities
• Is target-driven and focused on generating real business results
• Has good computer, CRM and administrative skills
Experience with home care, healthcare staffing, nursing homes, HSE-related work, tenders or healthcare recruitment would be a strong advantage.
Location: Ireland / Hybrid or Remote depending on experience
