Quantitative Business Analytics — Homework 1
What to submit
One Word file: use the provided HW1.docx and type answers in the “Answer:” area under each question.
Your Excel file(s): attach the workbook(s) you used to compute answers.
How to do each question
Download and open the Word file (don’t make a new doc).
Do the work by hand and in Excel (formulas, not hand-typed math).
In the Word file, under Answer:
Type your final answer (put the key number in bold and include units if any).
Paste the relevant Excel output (table/pivot/regression/charts) that produced your answer.
Add a 1–2 sentence explanation of your Excel output.
Pasting from Excel → Word (simple)
Copy in Excel → In Word, Paste → Keep Source Formatting.
For charts, just paste normally.

Note:
1. You are expected to use Excel or Google Sheets only. Using tools other than Excel/Google Sheets will result in an automatic zero.
2. You can work in groups, but each student must submit his/her own writing. If you use the works of a classmate as a reference, you must include a proper citation.

3. Improper/missing citation will be given one opportunity to correct or justify, or result in zero at my discretion.
