Bulk PDF-to-Excel Transcription

I have a backlog of well over fifty completed PDF forms that need to be turned into a clean, searchable Excel file. Each form captures a mix of plain text (names, addresses, comments) and numbers (dates, totals, reference codes). About two-thirds share one standard layout; the rest deviate slightly, so column mapping will change from time to time.

Your task is to open every PDF, extract each field exactly as written, and place it in the matching column of an Excel workbook. When layouts differ, I’ll rely on your judgment to create additional columns or tabs so no information is lost. Accuracy is critical because the file will feed directly into our reporting system.

Deliverables
• One master .xlsx file containing every record, fully de-duplicated and spell-checked
• A brief log noting any unreadable fields or ambiguities you encountered

I’m happy for you to use whatever method you’re most comfortable with—manual entry, Adobe Acrobat export, Python/Pandas, Power Query, or a mix—so long as the final workbook is complete and error-free. If you’ve handled large batches of mixed-layout forms before, let me know; that experience will stand out.

Please include a realistic turnaround time in your proposal and describe how you’ll verify data accuracy.
