Bulk PDF Form Data Extraction

I have a backlog of well over fifty fillable PDFs and I need every piece of information they contain—typed answers, ticked boxes, and embedded signatures—pulled into a single, organised Excel worksheet. The forms all share the same layout, so once the extraction is mapped correctly it should run the same way across the entire batch.

Accuracy is critical: every text field must appear exactly as entered, each checkbox must be marked clearly as selected or not, and every signature needs to be captured in a way that lets me confirm its presence later (image, base-64 string, or a reference link—whatever your script supports).

Python (PyPDF2, pdfplumber, camelot), VBA with Acrobat references, or any other reliable automation tool is fine with me; the goal is a repeatable approach I can re-run if new forms arrive.

Deliverables
• One Excel file (.xlsx) with all records stacked on a single sheet, one row per PDF
• Column headers that match the form field names (or a concise mapping table if headers must differ)
• The script or macro you used, plus brief setup instructions so I can rerun it on my side
