PROJECT: ExpresswayTicket.com – Travel Reservation & Ticketing Platform

Overview

I am looking for an experienced full-stack developer or small development team to build ExpresswayTicket.com, a professional online travel reservation/ticketing platform.

The platform will be similar in concept to OnwardTicket.com, providing customers with a simple, fast and automated way to purchase legitimate flight reservation/ticketing products online.

This is intended to be a commercial production platform, not simply a landing page or basic WordPress website.

The ideal developer must have experience with travel booking systems, flight APIs/GDS integrations, payment gateways, automated booking workflows and admin dashboards.

The intended customer journey is:

1. Customer visits ExpresswayTicket.com
2. Selects the required travel/reservation product
3. Enters passenger and flight/travel details
4. Selects the appropriate option
5. Proceeds to checkout
6. Makes payment
7. System processes the order
8. Reservation/order is generated through a legitimate travel API/GDS/supplier
9. Customer receives confirmation and reservation details by email
10. Customer can retrieve their order later using their reference/order number

The final supplier/API will be selected during development.

SPECIFIC DELIVERABLES / FEATURES TO EMPHASIZE:
1. Professional booking interface:
- Clean, fast, mobile-first interface inspired by leading travel platforms.
- Simple origin, destination, travel date and passenger information flow.
- Minimal steps from landing page to checkout.
2. Automated flight reservation/API integration:
- Integration with a legitimate flight/GDS/API supplier such as Amadeus, Duffel, Sabre, Travelport or another suitable provider.
- Automated availability/booking workflow.
- API error handling and fallback handling.
- No fake bookings or scraping.
3. Automated reservation/PNR generation:
- Once payment is confirmed, the system should automatically create the appropriate reservation.
- Store the booking/reference/PNR information securely.
- Retrieve and display reservation information to the customer.
4. Automated order processing:
- Payment → order creation → reservation → confirmation → customer email should happen automatically wherever the API supports it.
- Orders should have clear statuses such as Pending, Paid, Processing, Confirmed, Failed, Cancelled and Refunded.
5. Secure payment system:
- Integration with the selected payment gateway.
- Real-time payment verification.
- Webhook handling.
- Protection against duplicate payments/orders.
- Automatic reconciliation between payment and booking.
6. Instant customer confirmation:
- Professional branded confirmation email immediately after successful processing.
- Include booking/reference number, passenger information, itinerary/reservation details and relevant instructions.
- Ability to resend confirmation from the admin dashboard.
7. Customer order retrieval:
- Customers should be able to retrieve their booking without needing to contact support.
- Search using order/reference number + email or another secure verification method.
- Mobile-friendly confirmation/itinerary page.
8. Admin dashboard:
- Complete order management including customer management and refund/cancellation handling where necessary.
9. Pricing and product management:
