I need a developer to replace our paper-based season-ticket process with an intuitive online experience that still feels friendly to our older, less-technical audience.
Scope of work
• Season browsing – a clean catalogue for the coming season with individual production pages, performance dates, casts, and clear accessibility notices for every show.
• Subscription packages – patrons choose a package and indicate seat preferences before checkout.
• Renewal flow – when an existing subscriber logs in, last year’s package and seats should already be waiting so they can confirm or adjust with just a few clicks.
• Checkout – integrate sandbox payments; add an optional donation line that rolls into the same transaction.
• Subscriber account – a simple dashboard listing their booked productions, dates, seats, and any donations.
• Accessibility – WCAG-compliant markup, sensible colour contrast, keyboard navigation, and readable type; all critical information must be screen-reader friendly.
Technical notes
• Local development is fine so long as I can run it with test data and sandbox payments.
• The site must look and work flawlessly on desktop and tablet; mobile optimisation is a plus but not mandatory for launch.
• Familiarity with common arts-organisation workflows and theatre seating logic will help you move quickly.
Deliverables
1. Working codebase with instructions to install and seed test data.
2. A brief walkthrough video (or live demo) showing the full subscription and renewal flow.
3. Accessibility audit report covering the key pages.
I’m available for quick feedback loops and can supply last season’s data, branding assets, and seating maps as soon as we start.
