I’m ready to turn a fresh idea into a fully functioning social-networking web application and I’m looking for a developer who can guide the project end-to-end. The goal is straightforward: develop a brand-new application (not a revamp) that runs smoothly in any modern browser and scales as community traffic grows.
Here’s what I have in mind:
• Core user accounts with secure email / social sign-up and login
• Personal profiles, follow / friend mechanics, and an activity feed
• Real-time chat or messaging (WebSockets or similar)
• Responsive UI so the site feels at home on desktop and mobile browsers
• Admin dashboard for moderation, analytics, and basic content management
Tech is flexible, though I’m leaning toward a popular stack such as React or Vue on the front end and Node.js, Django, or Laravel on the back. I’m open to your recommendations if they improve performance, security, or time-to-market.
Please share examples of previous social or community-focused web apps you’ve launched, your preferred stack, and an estimated timeline for a first MVP. Once we agree on scope, we’ll break the work into clear milestones so progress is transparent for both of us.
Looking forward to collaborating and going live with something users will love.
