I’m ready to move from concept to working MVP for an online “rental boyfriend” service and I need a developer who can take care of the full flow end-to-end.
Core platform elements
• Profile creation – each boyfriend must be able to sign up, upload photos, write a bio and set basic preferences.
• Real-time chat – instant, in-app messaging so conversations stay on the platform.
• Booking system – clients pick a time slot and lock it in.
Extra functionality that is essential to the first release
• User reviews and ratings after each booking.
• Secure payment processing (card and wallet friendly).
• Calendar and scheduling so boyfriends can open, block or adjust their availability.
User roles
For this initial build there is only one active role: Boyfriend. Admin or client dashboards can remain placeholders for now; the focus is on making the boyfriend side rock-solid so I can demo the concept and gather early adopters.
Tech stack is up to you, though a modern combination such as React or Vue on the front end and Node, Laravel or Django on the back end will keep things future-proof. Real-time chat can run on Socket.IO, Firebase, or any proven service you’re comfortable with. Payments should hook into Stripe or a similarly reliable gateway.
Acceptance criteria
1. Responsive web app, mobile-first design.
2. Boyfriend can register, edit profile, set availability, chat, receive bookings and payouts.
3. Booking flow processes payment, records the reservation in the calendar and triggers notifications.
4. Ratings post-booking appear on the profile immediately.
5. Admin placeholder and clean codebase so new roles can be added without rewrites.
Hand-over must include full source code in Git, basic setup docs, and a short video walkthrough.
