I have two companion web projects—Project Ivy Offline and Project Ivy Online—currently proposed on Handshake AI. Before I can file the official interest forms with the platform, I want to partner with a software engineer who can take full ownership of both builds from day one.
Project Ivy Offline is a self-contained version that must run smoothly without a live internet connection, syncing data only when a network becomes available. Project Ivy Online is its cloud-hosted counterpart and needs robust user authentication and solid data-analytics dashboards right out of the gate. While real-time chat is not in scope for the first phase, I’d like the codebase structured so it can be added later without a rewrite.
The work covers the entire lifecycle—development, maintenance, and thorough testing—so I’m counting on clean architecture, unit and integration test coverage, and clear documentation. I’m flexible on the exact tech stack; if you’re comfortable in a modern web setup (React or Vue on the front end, Node, Python/FastAPI, or similar on the back), that aligns well with my expectations.
Deliverables I need to check off for Handshake approval:
• A concise technical roadmap for both versions, including proposed stack and milestones
• Initial Interest Form content ready to be dropped into Handshake’s submission fields
• MVP of each app deployed to their respective environments, complete with automated test suites and CI/CD scripts
• A maintenance plan outlining patch schedules and performance-monitoring metrics
If you can move quickly while keeping code quality high, let’s lock this in so I can submit the forms and secure the project slots.
Please note that I haven't really delved into the projects to understand what it entails, the above description is simply based on software engineering requirements but does not detail the exact scope of the project. On the interest form, there is a list of programming languages that I will need to specify which ones the developer is proficient at.
