I need a complete online education platform aimed at university students. The core of the site will revolve around curated documents and articles that users can download free of charge. No videos or interactive course modules are required at this stage—only well-organized written materials.
Key needs
• Modern, responsive web interface where students can browse, search, and filter articles or PDF hand-outs by subject, faculty, or keyword.
• Simple account system so users can save favorites and receive update notifications, while keeping anonymous browsing possible for quick access.
• Admin dashboard that lets me upload, tag, edit, and publish documents in bulk, with basic analytics on downloads.
• Fast, secure file delivery and storage (AWS S3, Firebase, or an equivalent solution is fine).
• Clean codebase (Laravel, Django, Node, or similar) that I can maintain and extend later if we decide to add mobile apps or paid subscription layers.
Acceptance criteria
1. I can upload a sample batch of PDFs and see them live in the catalog within the dashboard.
2. A student can find and download any of those files in two clicks from the homepage, without payment prompts.
3. Site passes basic speed and security checks (Google Lighthouse score 80+ on desktop, no open CVEs).
Please include a brief outline of your proposed tech stack and timeline in your response, along with any relevant portfolio links.
