Canva Pro Designer Needed — 7-Part Educational Template System for ClassAction
## PROJECT OVERVIEW
We are hiring an experienced Canva Pro designer to build a unified, professional, reusable design system for ClassAction, a student-led educational initiative. The commission covers seven connected template libraries: lesson presentations, handbooks, worksheets, recruitment assets, quality-assurance forms, school partnership materials and evidence reports.
**THIS IS DESIGN ONLY.** We will supply the educational content, policies, research and citations. The designer creates editable layouts and reusable components, not completed lessons or academic reports. Detailed page-by-page briefs for all seven systems are ready to share with the selected freelancer.
## ABOUT CLASSACTION
ClassAction trains older students (primarily Years 12–13) to facilitate engaging, practical PSHE lessons for younger students (Years 8–11), under appropriate teacher supervision. Year 11 students may shadow experienced ambassadors. Activities emphasise discussion, scenarios, problem-solving, real-life application and reflection. The goal is to improve PSHE engagement, develop meaningful student leadership and support school staff with prepared teaching resources.
We aim to grow through student-led chapters at different schools. Every asset must work both centrally and for individual chapters, with replaceable school names, logos, contacts, dates and other relevant details.
## BRANDING & DESIGN DIRECTION
Official colours: orange #FF914D, vivid blue #5170FF, deep blue #005AE0. We will supply the ClassAction logo. Designs should be colourful, modern, distinctive and youthful without appearing childish; professional enough for school leadership. Avoid generic, dull, overly minimalist templates. Maintain one coherent design language across all seven systems, adjusting visual intensity to the audience: energetic for lessons and recruitment, practical for handbooks/forms, polished for partnerships, restrained for evidence reports. Specify fixed ClassAction logo placement and an optional removable school logo.
## SEVEN TEMPLATE SYSTEMS
### 1. LESSON PRESENTATIONS — 28 reusable layouts, Canva 16:9
Support a standard 55-minute lesson: Hook (5 min), Interactive Discovery (8), Explanation/Exploration (8), Main Practical Activity (25), Personal Application (6), Exit Ticket (3).
Layouts cover: cover, objectives, recap with media, section divider; big question, scenario, visual stimulus, poll; Old vs New, Think–Pair–Share, Predict & Justify, brainstorm; concept explanation, Myth vs Fact, worked example; and 11 interactive activity types: instructions/timer, case study, role-play, debate, group problem-solving, sort/rank, quiz, share-back/gallery walk, video/media challenge, movement/Four Corners and Spot the Mistake. Finish with reflection/action planning and exit ticket. Design actual functional activity structures, not generic text slides. Allow presenter notes. No mandatory animations.
### 2. GUIDES & HANDBOOKS — 14 reusable A4 page layouts + 7 starter documents
Starter documents: Curriculum Usage, Student Ambassador, Ambassador Training, Supervising Teacher, Safeguarding & Escalation, Programme Operations, Leadership Handover & Succession.
Page layouts: cover, linked contents, standard text, major heading + body, subheading + body, two-column comparison, step-by-step procedure, editable flowchart, checklist, scenario/worked example, Do/Don't, roles matrix, quick-reference sheet, resources/version history. Must support short 1–3-page guides and longer handbooks. We write final handbook content.
### 3. STUDENT WORKSHEETS — 17 reusable A4 layouts
General activity worksheet; Think–Pair–Share; compare/evaluate; case study/decision; media observation; group challenge brief; group planning canvas; sort/rank cards; spot/correct the mistake; weekly timetable; urgency/importance matrix; goal/action plan; habit tracker; decision framework; reflection/exit ticket; independent practice; personal quick-reference card. Each requires real functional fields, clear student instructions and useful writing space. Print-friendly and digitally editable.
### 4. RECRUITMENT & PROMOTION — 16 reusable layouts
Must work for central recruitment AND local school chapters. Formats: A4 posters/flyers, Instagram 1080×1350 posts/carousels and 1080×1920 Stories. Assets include general and chapter recruitment posters, role opportunities, active vs shadowing pathways, commitment/training, how to apply, deadline/event announcements, organisation overview, impact, testimonials, recruitment posts, explainers, Stories and carousel opening/content/closing designs. Editable roles, contact information, school logo/name, deadlines and application QR codes. Tone: bold, mission-led youth movement, highlighting genuine educational impact above résumé benefits. No unauthorised identifiable student photography; use illustrations and placeholders.
### 5. ASSESSMENT & QUALITY ASSURANCE — 11 reusable forms
Applicant scorecard; ambassador progression tracker; training attendance/progress; practice lesson observation; feedback/improvement plan; actual classroom observation; ambassador self-reflection; supervising teacher feedback; anonymous student feedback; quality issue/follow-up; chapter quality review. Use practical checkboxes, criteria, tables, evidence/comments areas, dates, owners and statuses. Mostly A4 portrait; landscape where useful. Internal/confidential documents should be clearly marked. We determine evaluation policies and safeguarding procedures.
### 6. SCHOOL ROLLOUT & PARTNERSHIPS — 4 documents, 21 pages/slides total
Use a TWO-STAGE approach to avoid overwhelming schools.
Stage 1, share initially: (A) one-page A4 school introduction and (B) nine-slide 16:9 partnership presentation. Explain ClassAction, student-led school chapters, younger-student benefits, ambassador leadership, curriculum and potential support for staff workload. Keep persuasive and concise: no detailed school-responsibility matrices, readiness checklists or launch schedules.
Stage 2, after serious interest: (C) nine-page A4 implementation pack and (D) two-page A4 onboarding checklist. Explain chapter roles, curriculum resources, ambassador recruitment/training, scheduling, school supervision/safeguarding, quality review and practical launch tasks. Preferred model: a school's own student chapter president leads peers with a designated supervising teacher. A demonstration by existing ClassAction ambassadors may be an option when available. Frequency is flexible and agreed with each school.
### 7. EVIDENCE FRAMEWORK — 6-page A4 Canva master + 4 empty year-group copies
One reusable research-report design, duplicated for Years 8, 9, 10 and 11. Pages: (1) cover/executive summary, (2) findings relevant to learners, (3) research behind teaching methods, (4) evidence behind curriculum topics, (5) evidence-to-practice mapping matrix, (6) APA 7 references, limitations and version information. Create editable research cards, citations, tables and bibliography formatting. DO NOT research studies, invent findings or write reports. ClassAction will populate everything.
## TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- All source files in Canva Pro, fully editable and duplicated safely from master layouts.
- Editable text, tables, diagrams, icons, checkboxes, QR-code spaces and logos; do not flatten whole pages.
- Consistent typography, page grids, headers/footers, accessibility and print-safe margins.
- Support text-length variation, card duplication, and school/chapter customisation without redesign.
- Working links where relevant, digital/print-ready PDF samples, and correctly sized social media graphics.
- Use appropriately licensed assets; supply the master files in a ClassAction-controlled Canva workspace.
- English-only. Templates should remain usable by future student leadership teams.
## WORKFLOW & DELIVERABLES
We prefer milestone-based work: (1) establish unified visual system, (2) submit representative prototypes for approval, (3) build all template libraries, (4) test editability and realistic use cases, (5) revise and hand over Canva masters, starter shells, PDF previews and a concise editing guide. Detailed specifications and prototype requirements are available for every system.
## IDEAL DESIGNER
Advanced Canva Pro experience; strong presentation, workbook, form and information-design portfolio; ability to build coherent reusable design systems rather than isolated graphics. Experience with education, NGOs or youth organisations is advantageous.
## PLEASE INCLUDE IN YOUR BID
Relevant Canva portfolio, confirmation of Canva Pro expertise, proposed workflow/milestones, total fixed price, realistic delivery schedule, revision policy and confirmation of editable source-file transfer.
We prioritise usability, consistency and long-term reusability over decorative complexity.
