Title: Full-stack developer needed: translation management web app (MVP)

What we’re building
A web app where a project manager sets up a translation project, AI drafts the translation, automatic checks flag mistakes, and linguists review and deliver, all in one place.

Release 1 (MVP)

Create projects from templates, with word count and cost estimate
Upload DOCX, XLSX and JSON files and export them back with formatting intact
A two-column translation editor with glossary and translation memory matches
AI draft translation, with a per-client on/off switch and a cost cap
Automatic checks for wrong numbers, brand names, forbidden terms and text length
Three roles (Admin, Project manager, Linguist), with each client’s data kept separate

Not in Release 1: a client portal, payments, live co-editing and a vendor marketplace.

You should have

React and TypeScript, Node.js or Python, and PostgreSQL
Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs
Experience handling DOCX and XLSX files
A bonus: any experience with translation tools (XLIFF, TMX)

What we provide: a detailed brief and a clickable demo, shared after an NDA.

How we’ll work: fixed-price milestones, with a short paid first milestone to prove file handling. You’ll give a weekly demo and keep the code in our GitHub repository.
