Build Addiction Recovery Support Website

I need a full-featured website devoted to people actively seeking recovery from addiction. Every page, feature, and design choice should feel welcoming, judgment-free, and easy to use, even for visitors who may be in crisis. The core experience must remain lightweight, mobile-friendly, and WCAG-compliant so that no one is excluded.

Key features required
• Support forums – a moderated, searchable discussion area with user profiles and privacy controls.
• Live chat with counselors – real-time text chat that lets verified professionals log in, set their status, and privately message visitors. Think HIPAA-level encryption and an audit trail for safety.
• Resource library – a tagged, filterable collection where articles, worksheets, and external links can be uploaded and browsed quickly.

Primary audience: individuals in recovery. From landing page copy to navigation labels, wording should speak directly to them and avoid clinical jargon unless absolutely necessary.

Tech stack is flexible; WordPress, Laravel, or another secure CMS is fine as long as you can integrate the above features, manage user roles (visitor, member, counselor, moderator, admin), and keep page-load times low. Please include SSL, CAPTCHA on registration, and an admin dashboard with simple analytics.

Deliverables are: a fully deployed, production-ready site on my hosting, documented source code in Git, and a brief hand-off video showing me how to manage content and users. Acceptance is when all three key features work flawlessly on desktop and mobile, new users can sign up without issues, and automated nightly backups are running.

Timeline is negotiable, but I’d like to see an initial prototype within two weeks.
