About ORMA

ORMA (Organisation of Resident Malayalees Albany Inc.) is a Malayalee community association based in Albany, Western Australia. Our aim is to bring together Malayalee families in Albany, promote Kerala's rich cultural heritage, and organise community, cultural and social activities.

We are looking for a creative and experienced freelance logo designer/web designer to create a modern, professional and culturally appealing brand identity and website for ORMA.

Scope of Work

1. ORMA Logo Design

We need a unique and professional logo that represents:

- Kerala / Malayalee culture and heritage
- Albany, Western Australia
- Community, unity and togetherness
- A modern Australian-Malayalee identity
- Our slogan: “Rooted in Tradition, Soaring with Pride.”

We would like to see 2–4 initial logo concepts and revisions before final approval.

Final logo files should include:

- High-resolution PNG
- Transparent PNG
- JPG
- Vector format (AI/SVG/EPS)
- Black & white version
- Social media/profile version
- Basic colour/font information

2. Professional ORMA Website

Design and develop a modern, mobile-friendly and easy-to-manage website.

- Onam / Cultural Activities
- Photo Gallery
- News / Announcements

We would also like the website to be easy for committee members to update in the future without requiring advanced technical knowledge.

We are looking for a website that is:

Modern + Professional + Clean + Attractive + Culturally inspired

The design should combine elements of Kerala/Malayalee heritage with the Australian/Albany identity, rather than looking like a generic community website.

The website should work perfectly on:

- Desktop computers

CMS / Platform

We are open to recommendations, but WordPress would be preferred if it provides an easy and affordable way for our committee to manage the website.
