This is a remote position.
Supporting financial stability and operational continuity across a dual-business entity encompassing a retail pet supply store and a horse riding stable, this position manages essential back-end financial operations. Working approximately 2 to 3 hours per day, with the potential to expand to 4 to 5 hours daily for strategic financial output, the role ensures precise month-end reconciliations, effective accounts payable and receivable management, and continuous monitoring of bank transactions.
Functioning as an independent contractor, the successful candidate will work closely with leadership to maintain financial accuracy and streamline day-to-day transaction processing. Engagement and structured communication during an initial three-month onboarding period will establish alignment and operational standards.
Requirements
Execute month-end financial reconciliations on Quickbooks to maintain accurate ledger accounts.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
Monitor daily bank transactions to ensure accurate record-keeping and cash flow oversight.
Prepare profit and loss statements and provide strategic financial assistance if hours are expanded.
Engage actively during the initial three-month busy period to ensure full alignment on operational processes.
Maintain consistent email communication and utilize client software systems to fulfill tasks.
