WhoTheClientIs: Our client is an established Australian business in the automotive and 4WD accessories industry, providing vehicle accessories, servicing, and related solutions to customers across a range of needs. They are looking for a reliable remote team member to support their growing day-to-day operations and accounts function.
RoleOverview: We’re looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day transaction processing, reconciliations, payroll, superannuation, and month-end accounting activities. The role also includes coordinating warranty-related administration with the business’s corporate partner, following established processes. This is a straightforward, hands-on role suited to someone organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
KeyResponsibilities:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and transaction processing
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Handle month-end reconciliations and accounting tasks
Process payroll and superannuation
Maintain accurate financial records
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Investigate and resolve discrepancies
Coordinate warranty-related administration
Liaise with relevant stakeholders regarding warranty matters
Provide general accounts and administrative support
Requirements
Proven experience in a Bookkeeper or Accounts role
Strong experience with reconciliations and month-end processes
Experience with Australian payroll and superannuation
Good understanding of Australian bookkeeping practices is an advantage
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Good written and verbal English communication skills
Reliable, proactive, and process-driven
Ability to pick up and learn new software
Confidentiality is crucial
