Booking App Backend API Build

I already have the full user-interface for my booking / service app and now need a solid backend to bring it to life. Your task is to architect and develop a clean, well-documented set of APIs that the existing front-end can consume smoothly.

The APIs will handle user authentication, profile management, service listings, real-time availability, booking creation, status updates, and any related notifications. You’ll be free to propose the tech stack (Node.js, Django, Laravel, Go, or similar) as long as it is scalable, secure, and easy to maintain. A relational database schema must be designed from scratch to support the booking logic and future reporting needs.

I’ll provide detailed UI screens, field definitions, and flow diagrams so you can map every call precisely. Clear, version-controlled code (Git), straightforward environment setup instructions, and concise API documentation in Swagger / Postman are expected.

Deliverables:
• Fully functional REST (or GraphQL if you prefer) API with authentication
• Database schema and migration scripts
• Endpoint documentation and sample requests
• Basic unit tests covering core booking workflows
