Book Review Content Editor

I run a growing book blog and I need a sharp editorial eye to shape my draft reviews before they go live. Every piece is already written, but it needs a thoughtful pass to tighten the structure, sharpen the flow, and keep the tone relaxed and chatty—never stuffy.

Your task is purely content editing: reorganising paragraphs where needed, trimming repetition, suggesting stronger openings or closings, and making sure each review guides readers smoothly from plot summary to personal reaction to final verdict. I will still handle final proofreading, so your main focus is on clarity and readability.

We’ll start with one review to confirm the process; once we’re both happy I’ll send batches on a rolling basis. I work in Google Docs, so inline comments and tracked changes there will be perfect. Turnaround of 48–72 hours per review is ideal, but let me know if you need slight flexibility.
