I need a striking front-page layout for a product catalogue whose main job is to stop viewers in their tracks and make them curious about what’s inside. The inside pages are already in motion; what I still lack is that attention-grabbing cover that sets the tone.
Style direction
I’m after a bold, colourful look—think confident use of vibrant hues, strong typography, and a clear hierarchy that immediately showcases the featured product range. While the palette should pop, the overall composition still has to feel clean and organised so the cover reads instantly at a glance.
Scope of work
• Design one catalogue front page (A4, portrait).
• Supply a print-ready PDF plus the editable source file (Adobe InDesign preferred; Illustrator or Photoshop are fine if you set up the bleed, margins, and linked assets correctly).
• Include space for my logo, issue date, a headline slogan, and one hero product image. I’ll provide the logo and image once we kick off.
Acceptance criteria
The final file must:
1. Respect standard 3 mm bleed and 5 mm safe margins.
2. Use CMYK colour mode.
3. Embed or outline all fonts.
4. Deliver crisp, non-pixelated graphics at 300 dpi.
Turnaround
I’d like a first draft within three days, followed by up to two rounds of revisions so we can fine-tune details such as colour balance and headline placement.
If you love mixing vivid colour with smart layout, this should be a quick, fun assignment. I look forward to seeing your ideas.
