# YouTube Bodycam Video Editor, Scriptwriter, Voiceover & Thumbnail Designer
**Budget: $40 per completed video | Long-Term Opportunity**
I'm looking for an experienced YouTube editor to help grow a bodycam/crime documentary channel. I'm looking for someone who can handle the entire production process, from scriptwriting to the final edited video and thumbnail.
### What You'll Be Responsible For
- **Video Editing:** Edit engaging bodycam videos using a style very similar to Inspector Ted. Strong pacing, clean cuts, suspenseful storytelling, and viewer retention are essential.
- **Scriptwriting:** Write compelling, well-researched scripts that build tension, explain the case clearly, and keep viewers watching.
- **Voiceover:** Provide clear, professional narration that fits the documentary style.
- **Thumbnails:** Create clickable, high-quality thumbnails that fit the channel's branding and encourage viewers to watch.
- **Storytelling:** Use strategic narration, footage selection, and smooth transitions while allowing the original bodycam footage to carry the story.
### Who I'm Looking For
- Someone with proven experience editing YouTube bodycam, true crime, or documentary content.
- Someone who understands YouTube retention, storytelling, titles, and thumbnails.
- Someone who can work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate consistently.
- Someone who can replicate the general pacing and storytelling approach of successful channels like Inspector Ted while creating original content.
- Someone interested in building a long-term working relationship.
### Required When Applying
**You must provide links to previous YouTube channels or videos you have worked on.** I want to see your actual work, especially if you have experience with bodycam or true crime channels.
Please include:
1. Links to previous channels and videos you worked on.
2. A brief description of your role in each project.
3. Your experience with scriptwriting, voiceovers, editing, and thumbnails.
4. Your typical turnaround time per video.
5. Confirmation that you can handle the entire production process for $40 per video.
Applications without previous work samples will not be considered.
### Pay & Growth Opportunities
- Starting budget of **$40 per completed video**, covering editing, scriptwriting, voiceover, and thumbnail design.
- Opportunity for consistent work as the channel grows.
- Performance-based incentives for videos that achieve exceptional results, including viral videos.
- Potential to increase pay based on quality, reliability, and channel performance.
- Opportunity to move into a full-time position as the channel scales.
I'm looking for someone who wants to grow alongside the channel, not just complete one-off projects. If you have the skills and experience to help build a successful bodycam channel, I'd love to see your work.
**To apply, send your previous channel links and a short message explaining why you're a good fit for this role.**
