Boat Prop & Transom Saver Install

At my home in Grand Forks, ND, a quick hands-on job is waiting: swap the dinged prop on my fishing boat and fit the brand-new transom saver that’s still in its box. The boat is already on its trailer and parked with plenty of room around the motor.

All required tools are on site—prop wrench, sockets, grease, new cotter pin, and the complete transom saver kit—so you can simply arrive, do the work, and head out without hauling extra gear (unless you prefer using your own).

Deliverables
• Remove the old prop, grease shaft, install and torque the new prop, secure with fresh cotter pin
• Assemble, mount, and adjust the transom saver so the outboard sits firmly against it
• Spin-check the prop and run a quick gear engagement test to confirm everything turns freely
• Verify the motor is cradled solidly on the saver while the trailer is bounced slightly

I’m around most evenings after 4 pm and this weekend; the whole task should take an experienced hand well under an hour. I’ll release payment once I see the prop seated correctly and the motor resting steady on its new support. Drop me a note with your earliest availability and any questions.
