Bloomberg Terminal Financial Data Extraction

I need a freelancer with active, legitimate access to a Bloomberg Terminal to extract firm-level financial data and deliver it in a clean, analysis-ready format.

Scope of the work
- Sample: listed companies. I will provide the list (company names, tickers or ISINs).
- Period: 2015 to 2025, annual frequency.
- Variables: 8 variables,

Deliverables
1. One Excel or CSV file in panel format (one row per firm-year), with consistent column names.
2. A short data dictionary listing each variable, the Bloomberg field mnemonic used, the currency and the unit.
3. A log of missing or unavailable data points, with a brief note when a value could not be retrieved.

Requirements
- Current access to a Bloomberg Terminal (professional or university license).
- Working knowledge of the Bloomberg Excel Add-in (BDH/BDP) or BQL.
- Attention to detail: consistent currencies, fiscal-year alignment and correct handling of missing values.
- Prior experience with financial or academic data collection is a strong plus.

Timeline
Delivery expected within [number] days after the project is awarded. A small test sample (5 firms) will be requested first to check the format before the full extraction.

Data use
The data will be used solely for non-commercial academic research. The freelancer must confirm that the extraction complies with the terms of their Bloomberg license.
