Black-White Comic Story Art

I’m putting together a complete comic told through sequential panels and need an illustrator who can carry the entire story from rough thumbnails to press-ready pages. The look I’m after is clean, simple black-and-white line art—think classic newspaper strips rather than glossy superhero inks.
Scope
• 8–12 interior pages laid out in readable panel flow (I’ll provide the script).
• A matching cover illustration that shows the full cast gathered together no color or colored, strong lines and clear silhouettes.
• Lettering and basic sound-effect text integrated so each page is print-ready at 300 dpi.
Workflow & Tools
I’m happy with hand-drawn scans finished in Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop, or another vector/raster workflow as long as the final files arrive as layered PSD or high-resolution TIFF plus flattened PDFs for review.
What I’ll provide
• Final script with panel-by-panel breakdown.
• Reference sheets for each character.
What I need from you
• Initial thumbnail roughs to confirm pacing.
• Tight pencils, then inks for approval.
• Final packaged files and a print-ready cover.
If you love visual storytelling and have samples of black-and-white comics or zines, I’d love to see them. Let’s bring this story to life together.
