I’m launching an event-rental brand, and the centrepiece is a self-service “Birthday Jukebox” kiosk. I need a rock-solid, single-page Progressive Web App that boots straight into full-screen on our mounted tablet and keeps the party soundtrack flowing.

Project Overview: I am launching an event rental business and need a highly reliable, single-page web application designed as a Progressive Web App (PWA). This app will act as a custom "Birthday Jukebox" kiosk.The software will run on a touchscreen tablet (iPad or Android) enclosed inside a physical, retro-style jukebox cabinet at weddings and corporate events. Because wedding venues often have poor or non-existent Wi-Fi, this application must not rely on external streaming services like Spotify or YouTube. Instead, it must play audio tracks from a pre-loaded, local digital music library.
Core User Workflow:
Welcome Screen: Displays my custom company branding, an elegant wedding theme, and a large call-to-action button: "Find Your Birthday Number 1".
Date Input Screen: The guest is presented with a large, touchscreen-friendly, scrolling date picker (Day / Month / Year).
The Reveal & Playback: Once the guest hits "Submit", the system looks up the UK chart-topper for that exact date, displays the song title, artist name, and album artwork, and instantly starts playing the corresponding audio file.
Auto-Reset: After the song finishes playing (or after 60 seconds of inactivity), the screen smoothly resets back to the Welcome Screen for the next guest.
Technical & Architectural Requirements.
Front-End & UI Design: Must be a Single-Page Application (SPA) optimized entirely for tablet touchscreen interactions (large tap targets, fluid animations).Clean, elegant, premium visual design suitable for luxury weddings.Must include clear placeholder blocks for my custom business logo and branding.The user interface must hide all default OS and browser elements (no scrollbars, text selection, or right-click menus).
Local Audio Library & Database Architecture Storage: All audio tracks will be provided by the client as standardized audio files (MP3 or WAV format). These files will be stored directly in a local directory on the device or a local web server framework.Database Mapping: You must implement a lightweight local database or JSON mapping file. This file will map calendar dates (from 1952 to the present day) directly to the corresponding local audio file path.Example logic: If user input = 14/11/1952, the application queries the local JSON file, identifies the matching track record, and triggers playback for /audio/tracks/0001.mp3.Headless Audio Controls: Audio playback must use native HTML5 audio or a lightweight web audio framework. No default browser media players, play/pause buttons, or seek bars should be visible to the end user. Playback must trigger instantly with zero buffering.3. Kiosk Lockdown Optimization (PWA)Configure the site as a Progressive Web App (PWA) with a manifest file so it can be added to the tablet's home screen.When launched from the home screen icon, it must open in standalone, borderless, full-screen mode (hiding the browser address bar, search box, and navigation arrows).Strict input validation to ensure guests cannot break out of the application loop or access system settings.4. Fallback Handling: If a guest enters a date that falls outside the limits of our provided music library (e.g., a date before charts began in November 1952), the app should gracefully display a friendly, branded error screen: "Wow!
