I need an ultra-detailed 3D reproduction of the Meril BioMime coronary stent that can stand up to realistic simulation work in FEA and CFD. You will receive high-resolution reference images from me, and I expect the final geometry to capture every strut, connector and taper exactly as shown so the part behaves like the real device when meshed.
Dimensional accuracy, watertight topology and clean surface normals are critical because the files will feed directly into analysis software and occasional 3-axis CAM. Please keep the model fully parametric where practical so minor diameter or length tweaks can be handled quickly on my side.
Please make the 3D CAD models for my project based on the attached brochure. I need them in .STEP and .IGES file formats.
Here are the simple dimensions to use:
The Stent Model:
Stent Diameter: 2.00 mm
Stent Length: 16 mm
Strut Thickness: 65 µm (0.065 mm)
Note: Please copy the zig-zag wavy loop design shown in the brochure pictures.
The Artery Model (The Tube):
Inner Diameter: 2.10 mm
Wall Thickness: 0.50 mm
Tube Length: 20 mm
What you need to send me:
1)The separate stent file (Stent_Meril_BioMime.step)
2)The separate artery tube file (Coronary_Artery_Shell.step)
3)A final file showing the stent sitting perfectly inside the artery tube (Assembly_BioMime_Artery.step). Do not join them into one piece; keep them as separate parts touching each other.
Important Note: Later in Phase 2, we will run this in ANSYS Student version, so the mesh must be very light (under 30,000 nodes).
Deliverables (all required):
• STL, STEP and IGES exports of the finished model
• The native CAD file from your preferred package (SolidWorks, Inventor, NX or similar)
• A brief note on any assumed dimensions not visible in the images
I will review by importing each file into Ansys and GrabCAD to confirm there are no open edges or self-intersections. Once the model passes that check, the job is complete.
