Position: Bilingual Indonesian STEM Expert (PhD) — AI Safety
Type:Contract
Compensation:$19–$23/hour
Location:Remote
Role Responsibilities
Write expert-level prompts in Indonesian across specialized scientific topics.
Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and appropriate handling of sensitive content.
Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have
PhD in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field.
Native or near-native fluency in Indonesian.
Business-level written English.
Deep familiarity with modern laboratory and computational techniques.
Sound judgment around scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information.
Preferred
Based in Indonesia or the wider Southeast Asia region.
Expertise in radiological and nuclear coverage from a chemistry background.
Demonstrated depth in a specific subfield like organic or inorganic synthesis.
Research or coursework in chemical safety and security, biosafety, or hazardous-materials handling.
Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming technical content.
