I need a concise, research-driven study that explains how Building Information Modeling (BIM) can streamline cost-management across a construction project. The focus is qualitative: interviews, relevant case studies, and an examination of current literature should form the backbone of the analysis, with clear commentary on where BIM adds measurable value and where gaps still exist.
Please structure the final document so a multidisciplinary audience can understand it—decision-makers, planners, and on-site professionals alike. A short executive summary up front, followed by the main report (10–15 pages) and any appendices for raw findings or reference material, will be perfect. Charts or visualisations straight out of authoring tools such as Revit, Navisworks, or CostX are welcome if they help illustrate key insights.
I am happy to provide access to existing project data and contacts for interviews once we agree on the outline. Let me know your proposed methodology, anticipated sources, and how long you will need to complete a polished, ready-to-share study.
