I need a flow built in Power Automate that listens for the “new vendor created” event in Bill.com and immediately sends an email to several internal recipients. The message must pull the vendor’s name, payment details, and account number straight from the Bill.com record so the accounting team has all critical information at a glance.
Here’s what I have in mind:
• Trigger: New-vendor creation in Bill.com, captured through the official connector or a secure API call.
• Action: Compose and send an Outlook (or comparable SMTP) email to our predefined distribution list.
• Data mapping: Vendor Name, Payment Details, Account Number inserted into a clear, branded email template.
• Error handling: Log failures and notify me if the flow cannot retrieve data or deliver the message.
Acceptance criteria:
1. Creating a test vendor in our Bill.com sandbox fires exactly one email within 30 seconds.
2. All three data points arrive correctly formatted.
3. The flow can be turned on/off and edited by our admin without code changes.
Access to our Bill.com API key and recipient addresses will be provided after kickoff. If you’ve connected Power Automate to Bill.com before—or built similar event-driven notifications—let me know your approach and estimated setup time.
